First Nations, Inuit and Métis people in Canada have one of the highest suicide rates in the world. Although not all Indigenous communities have high rates of suicide there are risk factors that are common to some Indigenous peoples. These factors can often be heightened for those living in urban centres. This resource is a suicide prevention toolkit focusing on understanding the experience and needs of Indigenous peoples, and provides information on what you can do to help.
